Confine them to an area so that they can’t damage your furniture. Build a small run outside where they can do as they please without you worrying about what is happening.

Well, at five months, they’re probably teething, so it’s even harder for them not to chew on things. Also, they might be a little bored. Are they getting walked?

letting them on the furniture in the first place was a bad idea. it might seem cute at the time but eventually you regret it. get them their own bed outside and teach them to lay on it. keep them away from the particular piece of patio furniture that you dont want them on, teach them “down”.

make sure they get a lot of excersze this could be a way of letting of energy go for more walks and more chew toys are also good and stuffed animals(safe ones)

    Supervision would really help.

Go and buy about 4-6 new toys give them 2-3 one and continue you to swich them out every other day. Also it is good to get them some rawhide chews (they love them) This should help a lot.

It is called puppy teething. Get good chew things like kong toys and bully sticks. Avoid greenies and nyla bones because both can splinter. Move the couch because this will last for several months.
